As American Idol ended its season, America voted for its ultimate winner. And Christian contender Megan Danielle gave her last performance glorifying God.
Megan Danielle
American Idol finalist Megan Danielle, Iam Tongi, and Colin Stough recently performed in the final show of the season. They sang solos and then duets with leading artists.
Megan decided to take the opportunity to perform with Christian artist Lauren Daigle.
Megan’s first audition was with Lauren Daigle and it was fitting that her last performance was with her too.
Lauren first sang “These Are the Days” from her newly released album. Then, she invited the crowd to welcome Megan to the stage.
The Christian singers gave a soulful rendition of Lauren’s “Thank God I Do.”
I don’t know who I’d be if I didn’t know YouI’d probably fall off the edgeI don’t know where I’d go if You ever let goSo keep me held in Your handsI don’t know who I’d be if I didn’t know YouThank God I do
One viewer commented on how the two revealed God’s love with their talent. She said, “God moves in Love, and these vocalists respond to His greatness with beauty and such talent!”

At the end of the episode, the final winner was chosen.
Despite not winning, Megan got to do what she came to do in the first place – share the love of Christ.
Congratulations, Megan Danielle!
