The Asbury Revival has ignited revival gatherings at many schools and colleges across America. Many students have hungered and pressed into God on their campuses as they catch the fire of revival. It started at Lee University, then Cedarville University, Samford University, the University of the Cumberlands, and then Campbellsville University. And today, Texas A&M University (TAMU) has joined the list of campus revivals happening in America.
Revival at Texas A&M University
Grant Bynum, a student at TAMU, shared on his Facebook page a glimpse into the zeal and hunger of TAMU students have for revival in their community. The worship gathering was spontaneous and student-led.
“Student led spontaneous event next to Kyle Field, no leader wanted. Worship breaks out. Testimonies. Prayers for miraculous healings. Prayers for the lost and boldness to witness to the entire campus. This is a MIRACLE!”
They went on for the second day and saw healing and repentance. Grant said, “Jesus is moving at Texas A&M! It’s real! Met for 6 hours! STUDENT LED, no program! Closest thing I’ve ever seen to ACTS.”
He continued, “Testimonies, worship, praying for healing, prayers for boldness to witness to the lost at TAMU. SUPPORT/PRAY for the Holy Spirit to lead and to continue this. Amen!”
The students’ passion has increased and the gathering are getting bigger and even extended to water baptisms. Grant believes that “Jesus is JUST GETTING STARTED at Texas A&M.”
“This is REAL. Worship, repentance, prayers, no leaders. Physical healing. Baptism. Crowds bigger than last night.”
“If You’re not here, I don’t want to be. I won’t be moved unless You move.” They prayed, “I want You more than the air I breathe. I need You.”
Furthermore, Texas A&M University is not only the campus revival inside Texas. High school students in Corpus Christi are also experiencing renewal and fire in their faith.
May this season of outpouring be received by everyone until the glory of God fills the earth as the waters cover the sea!
