Bunnie Xo Poses for ‘Playboy,’ Talks Bonding With Jelly Roll’s Daughter, Sex After Weight Loss & More

She’s a Playboy Bunnie! On Tuesday (April 14), the magazine published a photoshoot and Q&A with Bunnie Xo, who touched on everything from bonding with husband Jelly Roll‘s daughter to having sex after major weight loss.

Serving as a Playboy guest advisor, the podcaster was put to the task of answering queries submitted by readers. One person asked about getting his girlfriend’s two kids to “like” him, and given that Bunnie shares custody of her famous husband’s daughter, Bailee, the influencer’s response was well-informed.

“My biggest thing with building my relationship with my bonus baby — don’t use the word ‘step’ — is let them come to you,” she wrote. “Don’t force your love on them. Don’t force your opinions on them. Don’t be too overbearing. Just be that soft, solid, strong point in their life, so that they are drawn to you.”

Jelly has been open about how crucial Bunnie has been in her role as Bailee’s stepmom. “You’re talking about a woman that came in and took a child that was soon to be born and a child that [we were] soon to have full custody of,” he told Billboard in 2023. “I would have never got custody of my daughter without her. I wouldn’t have had the stability or the money.”

Her bond with Bailee was on display when the teenager hosted a prom for her parents in December.

Another topic that more than likely hit close to home for Bunnie arose in a question submitted by someone wondering whether his lack of sex with his wife after starting weight-loss drugs was just a “phase” or not. The Dumb Blonde host’s husband has been open about his dramatic health transformation over the past couple of years — he’s lost 275 pounds as of January — including how it’s improved the couple’s sex life.

Bunnie told the concerned reader, “When it comes to sex, slowing down after weight loss and Ozempic can be tricky.”

“Big body changes mess with your head and hormones,” she continued. “Add a medication that blunts appetite and it’s not shocking libido dips too. It’s likely an adjustment period, not a permanent shift.”

Elsewhere in the Q&A, Bunnie touched on how she’s “never dated a man for their looks,” shared her encouragement for a girl wanting to leave the “adult industry” after four years and whether it’s a red flag for one partner in a relationship to never post photos of the other. “When I kept relationships private, it was either to protect them or to keep options open, and those are very different motives,” she said candidly while replying to the latter. “You’re allowed to want clarity about which one it is.”

More of Bunnie’s words of wisdom can be found in her Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic memoir, which hit shelves in February. She’s also known for her transparency on her podcast, on which she’s kept fans updated about her life with Jelly and the ups and downs of their IVF journey.
