Lange habe ich gewartet - endlich war sie da! Gils Musik ist so voller Gefühl, Liebe und Energie - vom ersten bis zum letzten Ton! Wie er so schön sagte: Mal hart - Mal zart! Mal laut - Mal leise! Sie läuft mittlerweile rauf und runter und ich kann mich nicht entscheiden, welcher Song evtl. mein Lieblingslied sein könnte! Und das Polaroid von Ina Bohnsack noch dazu ist auch so schön!

    Wenn da ein Musiker, welcher im gleichen Alter ist wie meiner einer, in jungen Jahren seine Karriere beginnt und man diese ab 2004 permanent begleitet und liebt, so bleibt es nicht aus auch diesem Stück Geschichte eine Chance zu geben. Und wie nahezu immer überzeugt mich Gil zunächst mit seiner unglaublich tollen Stimme, aber umgehend danach schlichtweg mit wahnsinnig tollen Songs. Textlich mal mehr, mal weniger ein absoluter Ohrenschmaus. Spätestens musikalisch ist es aber einfach nur saugut! Guter handgemachter Rock. Jetzt eben statt mit der Band Acht, solo - mit Deutschrock - why not? Mir gefällt es sehr gut.

    Die CD ist echt der Hammer bzw. GIL ist einfach der Hammer. Seine Stimme ist wirklich soo toll und die Songs sind ehr beeindruckend..........tolle Texte...........die Lieder berühren sehr das HERZ und wer von euch -wie ich in München am 3.3.2020 die Möglichkeit hat ihn auf der Tour zu sehen- kann ich nur sagen........echt mega geil...........sein Charisma, seine Bühnenpräsenz, seine Stimme........der Wahnsinn.......er hat uns alle im Herzen berührt u. er war selbst auch soo gerührt..........sowas hab ich noch bei keinem anderen Künstler gesehen!!

    Ich habe erwartet das das angekündigte Album toll werden wird. Aber meine Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. Die Scheibe ist der Hammer! Meistens sind auf einem Album Songs dabei, die einem nicht so gefallen. Aber hier reißt mich jeder einzelne Song mit und man merkt einmal mehr, dass Gil Ofarim ein Vollblutmusiker ist, mit einer tollen, unverwechselbaren Stimme. Und die vier Akustik Titel sind das Sahnehäubchen! Ich sag' einfach mal Danke an Gil und alle Beteiligten!!! Im März war ich in München beim Konzert dabei und freue mich schon auf die Herbst-Tour, ich setze mal voraus, dass "alles gut geht" (Karten sind schon da).

    Aus meiner Sicht darf dieses Album in keiner Sammlung guter deutscher Musik fehlen.

    Klar, stimmlich war Gil auch mit englischen Texten ganz weit vorne.

    Ich persönlich finde jedoch, dass ihm die deutsche Sprache besser steht.

    Das Album ist musikalisch sowie textlich unglaublich gelungen und hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht.

    Bei mir befindet sich das Album auch nach mehreren Monaten noch in Dauerschleife.
