Monacanthus chinensis és una espècie de peix de la família dels monacàntids i de l'ordre dels tetraodontiformes.[1]
Morfologia

[modifica]Menja algues, amfípodes, gambes, briozous, copèpodes i d'altres invertebrats.[4]
Depredadors
[modifica]A Austràlia és depredat per Sillago analis.[5]
Hàbitat
[modifica]És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 3–12 m de fondària.[3][6]
Distribució geogràfica
