Richard Price CEO

Richard did a Ph.D at Oxford in philosophy, where he was a Fellow of All Souls College. His thesis was in the philosophy of perception. Prior to that, he did a BA at Oxford in philosophy, politics, and economics.

Ben Lund CTO

Ben studied Biological Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. Before joining Academia.edu, Ben worked for Nature and as a freelance web developer building web applications for researchers and medics.

David Judd Engineer

David majored in Computer Science at Columbia and then worked for Yodle in New York before joining Academia.edu in October 2012.

Nate Sullivan Engineer

Nate studied Philosophy and Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before joining Academia.edu in July 2013.

Mandy Chan User Operations

Mandy graduated from UCSD with a Biochemistry and Cell Biology major. Aside from her love for the sciences, she also has an interest in design, writing, and ice cream.
