You were elected to lead not to poison us. The path of least resistance with respect to checks on population growth is no longer acceptable, if it ever was. You have inherited this system and are therefore not responsible for the crimes committed in the past to prevent war, but you are responsible for the crimes that are being committed in the present to preserve peace.
The plan of controlled depopulation has been in place since 1945 and has been gradually imposed on nation states by mutual coercion mutually agreed upon to ensure that no country outgrows its resources and is tempted or forced to invade its neighbors and take by force that which it needs for the survival of its people. In the nuclear age that is indeed the only responsible way for nations and people to coexist on a finite planet.
The United Nations has acted as a neutral agency and has coordinated this substitute to war globally so that not even the mightiest of nations can escape or eschew their responsibilities towards international peace and trigger a nuclear war that would end up in our assured mutual destruction.
The program of population control must remain in place and will proceed towards controlled depopulation as soon as our numbers peak, in a couple of decades, and continue until such time as human civilization becomes sustainable and we no longer harm the planet by disrupting the equilibrium of life. The covert methods of depopulation in place since the end of World War II, however, will have to be retired immediately and replaced with global population control legislation that restricts family size to two children across the world and in perpetuity or until such time as we can reach other planets, which may never happen.
Neither we nor the remaining life on the planet can survive a doubling of the global population from 7 to 14 billion, which would occur in thirty years without artificially impeding human fertility. This being the case, it makes no sense to pretend otherwise and fail to involve every human being on the planet in an open, fair and transparent program of population control. This is not rocket science and every human being will be able to understand the logic and the necessity of such a plan. Failing to understand will condemn us all to poverty, misery, filth, pollution, and ultimately war. As UN technocrats will put it, population dynamics is inextricably linked to macroeconomics and planetary boundaries and we can no longer afford to ignore this fact.
I have freed you from the self-imposed prison of covert depopulation by mutual coercion mutually agreed upon. It is now up to you to take the next step and free us from mass poisoning by putting in place the necessary political entity capable of overseeing the worldwide transition from covert to overt population control peacefully and gently.
If I am not needed to oversee the transition or to lead this organization then I will return to my inconspicuous and private life. To be able to do this I ask that my children are returned to me without delay. They have been taken away from me by force and have held hostage by the government of Canada for more than three years now in the hope that I would acquiesce to the system of global genocide and abandon my fellow human beings to mass murderers. I think by now it is painfully clear to everyone that I will never acquiesce. Nor will I abandon my children.
It should also be painfully clear that I have put an end to the secrecy and the deception and freed not only you but also the truth. Over the course of the next few weeks, I will address in writing each and every one of the individuals at the helm of the world’s 196 sovereign states to ask that they too change course before it is too late.
Several of you have already changed course in response to my work and entreaties, but only all of you together can convince the world that population control is mankind’s ticket to salvation and therefore inevitable. The sooner you muster the courage to stand in front of the world united to explain to the people the brutal facts of overpopulation and the bitter reality of covert depopulation practiced over the past seven decades, the sooner humankind will forge a new and common course that demands a small sacrifice from all of us, namely limiting our families to maximum two children, and promises great benefits to all of us: enduring peace, universal prosperity, and planetary health.
I have done my duty and have shown not only that a common man can understand the complexity of global governance on his own and despite the extraordinary obstacles in place, but also act accordingly. It is now your turn to do your duty and what you were elected for, namely pass laws that benefit us all and not just the 1%.
This day and age demands from every head of state that he or she is also a global leader and thinks not only about the wellbeing of his or her fellow nationals but also of the wellbeing of all people on the planet. For all intents and purpose, and until such time as the world has a recognized global parliament, we already live in a world that is a single and indivisible political unit.
Be brave and act accordingly! If you fail to be brave and act accordingly, the efforts made to prevent war will be the cause of war. And this war will not be a war between nations but a war between the 99% and the 1% in response to and in defense against the silent and devious war the 1% has waged against the 99% for nearly seven decades.
This is your final notice.

The assessment of class frequency in soil map legends is affected by uncertainty, especially at small scales where generalization is greater. The aim of this study was to test the hypothesis that data mining techniques provide better estimation of class frequency than traditional deterministic pedology in a national soil map.
In the 1:5,000,000 map of Italian soil regions, the soil classes are the WRB reference soil groups (RSGs). Different data mining techniques, namely neural networks, random forests, boosted tree, classification and regression tree, and supported vector machine (SVM), were tested and the last one gave the best RSG predictions using selected auxiliary variables and 22,015 classified soil profiles. The five most frequent RSGs resulting from the two approaches were compared. The outcomes were validated with a Bayesian approach applied to a subset of 10% of geographically representative profiles, which were kept out before data processing. The validation provided the values of both positive and negative prediction abilities.
The most frequent classes were equally predicted by the two methods, which differed however from the forecast of the other classes. The Bayesian validation indicated that the SVM method was more reliable than the deterministic pedological approach and that both approaches were more confident in predicting the absence rather than the presence of a soil type.

This article analyses the business community and the anti-racketeering campaign “Change shopping habits against paying extortion racket” (“pizzo”) launched by the organisation Addiopizzo in Palermo, Sicily. The aim of this campaign was twofold: to encourage consumers to support companies that were not paying protection money to the local mafia, and to support entrepreneurs that refused to pay for protection. To date, Addiopizzo has mobilised about 800 firms and 10,000 citizens. The experience in Palermo of anti-mafia business movements is perceived as a critical case where it is difficult to establish collective action among businesses due to a strong presence of organised crime. Drawing on the social capital theory and mobilisation research, three solutions to the collective action dilemma are identified in this article: mobilisation through organisations, recruitment through ties, and trust. These three solutions are complementary and point at the possibility that social movements can bring about social and cultural change in a context marked by high risk, distrust, and a lack of cooperative tradition. Furthermore, this article shows that the mobilisation of businesses followed different paths and, to some extent, varied over time. The analysis is built upon a unique dataset collected from 277 firms that joined Addiopizzo’s campaign between 2005 and 2011, and from interviews and informal discussions with about 100 entrepreneurs.

Since the 1980s, research on the privatisation of local services has analysed the factors affecting government's delivery choices; but this research has not given unanimous results, for reasons connected both to the different methodologies adopted and the dynamic nature of privatisation processes. This article introduces the case of Italian water services reform, drawing attention to the economic and political dynamics that make privatisation an extremely complex choice, in which the preferences of politicians have to be balanced with industrial heritage and the strategies of the utilities. By privileging a historical analysis of the conditions in which such choices take place, it is possible to grasp the changing relations between local governments and utilities and to look at the relative power of firms, citizens and governments in the process of service delivery choice.

Italian water services reform, started in 1994, has been surrounded by a lively debate on water management models; however, the story of the reform is difficult to understand if only those models chosen by local public agencies are considered. This paper provides a general picture of the reform, analyzes the decision-making process and presents a map of local outcomes. The decision-making analysis considers the course of action taken by the actors involved in reform from 1994 to 2008, and summarizes the events into three rounds. The map of the local modes of governance is focused on the relationship between local authorities and utilities, and has been realized through a collection of data from the 91 areas in which the national system has been reorganized, which has allowed the definition of four ideal types of outcome. The analysis shows that the range of solutions is wider (and the boundaries between them more ambiguous) than commonly assumed by the mainstream national debate which appears to overestimate the role of tools and of formal instruments, and, conversely, to underestimate the real and differentiated abilities and power of the actors in the water sector.

Job Posting for Italy Coordinator at Context Travel (www.contexttravel.com):
Do you live and breathe Italy? Do you spend your time wandering in awe through its museums, palaces and churches? Do you marvel its archaeological remains? Savor its endless variety of wines and indulge in its creative cuisine? We are looking for a passionate Italophile to work full-time in our Rome office, assisting with the planning of our critically acclaimed walking seminars in Italy, working side by side with scholars from all over the world who share the passion and love for this country and its cultures, ancient and contemporary.
Our organization is all about Context. We believe that true learning can only happen with context, and that philosophy penetrates everything we do, right down to our name. Whether it's exploring the ancient Roman Empire along via dei Fori Imperiali, or the Renaissance through Michelangelo’s David, or Neapolitan cuisine with your hands in pizza dough - we make sure our clients' experience is both memorable and authentic. We do this by crafting their time with us to the tiniest detail and by pairing them with highly qualified experts who are deeply embedded in both their subject and their city.
Context was founded in Rome in 2003 and has since established itself as one of the top cultural tour companies of the world. Context is listed on Conde Nast Traveler’s Top Travel Specialist and is a certified B Corp.
Our ideal candidate will have lived or travelled extensively in Italy and be based in Rome. They will posses valid work and residence papers. They will have a strong background in Humanities, speak fluent English and Italian and will be keen on getting to know Italy the Context way: in great depth. They will be familiar with the Bernini-Borromini contest, tell a gondola from a traghetto, be committed to sustainable travel and continuous learning. They will thrive on storytelling in written and online media.
Overview
Context Travel is a network of scholars, professors, graduate students, and various other professionals (writers, architects, chefs, artists, etc.) who lead seminar-style walking tours for small groups of intellectually curious travelers.
We operate in 24 cities worldwide and are committed to sustainable tourism. Italy is our biggest country and we manage our Italy operations from our office in the centre of Rome.
Overall responsibilities involve managing the large amounts of detail required to plan and operate our walking seminars in Italy: from when a request comes in, to when clients’ feedback is received at the end of their experience with us. Docent training, storytelling and ongoing research are embedded in the daily running of our busy office.
The ideal candidate will be based in Rome and have valid work and residence papers. They will have a strong background in the Humanities and everything Italy related. They will be tech-savvy, fast-learning and detail-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively to clients, academics and representatives of Italian institutions in both Italian and English. They will increase the exposure of our Italian program by writing posts on our blog, FB page and tweeting using the Context handles. Video knowledge is an asset.

Overview
