  • What can frontier models actually do in a cyberattack? Booz Allen is putting them to the test. Our Cyber Weapon Index evaluates frontier models as autonomous cyber attackers, grounding results in evidence from network traffic, host logs, domain controller data, and intrusion-detection sensors. As frontier models advance, we continue testing what they can execute. Discover the latest findings: https://lnkd.in/eBFdE4-7

  • Booz Allen is turning defense innovation into soldier-ready capability. Read what defense media and Booz Allen leaders are saying about the technologies, integrated solutions, and partnerships helping deliver operational impact today. 💡 NYSE TV – https://lnkd.in/eMCBWb8p “The Modular Detachment Kit (MDK) fuses sensor and datalink information, moving it to tactical units responding to real-world threats like drone swarms. Sit(x)® then connects situational awareness to sensors and effectors.”- Steven Escaravage, President, Defense Technology Group, Booz Allen 💡 The Washington Times – https://lnkd.in/efde3JPA “[Soldier-ready] means getting technology into the hands of our soldiers as quickly as possible, so they can use it today. That aligns with what the [Trump] Administration is looking to do.” - Joel Dillon, SVP, Booz Allen 💡The Tec-Talk Podcast – https://lnkd.in/ezuyeEFU “Our partnership with Carnegie Robotics delivers soldier-borne computing capability. These partnerships get capability into the field faster, with technology that's soldier-ready and ready to go.” - Leonel Garciga, Senior Executive Advisor, Booz Allen

  • Stopping an autonomous attack is only part of the job. The real advantage comes from shaping what autonomous agents see, learning how they behave, and knowing when to act. Aaron Sant-Miller, VP, Booz Allen, explains on Coded For Chaos Podcast how turning an attacker’s own decisions into intelligence can give defenders greater control and a stronger foundation for defense.  Watch the episode: https://lnkd.in/eicNCunf  Learn more about Vellox Labs Guile™:  https://lnkd.in/eDz3BMD6

Shutting down an AI agent is easy, learning how it thinks is where the real advantage begins. On the latest episode of Coded For Chaos, Aaron Sant-Miller, VP of Cyber Artificial Intelligence at Booz Allen Hamilton joins Hank Thomas to break down how deception and “Phantoms” can turn an AI-driven attack into an intelligence opportunity. Instead of pulling the plug at first contact, defenders can lead adversary agents through a controlled bait chain, extracting intelligence that helps build stronger defenses at scale. Don’t just stop the attack, learn from it. Full episode of Coded For Chaos out now in the comments below.

  • New technology moves fast. Defense systems need to keep up. As Mike Davenport, SVP, Booz Allen, explains modular open systems architecture makes it possible to swap in new sensors, radios, and capabilities without rebuilding the entire system. We build and connect technology that enables the US Army to bring new capabilities into existing systems as needs evolve. Listen to the full Defense News interview here: https://lnkd.in/ear4hGEf

  • Autonomous adversaries are becoming more sophisticated, creating new challenges for cyber defenders. See the latest from Booz Allen National Cyber President, Brad Medairy 👇

Last week, Japan declared its first-ever “state of emergency in cyberspace.” The declaration followed a surge of ransomware and data breaches, including an attack on SoftBank-owned cloud provider IDC Frontier that cascaded across 495 organizations and exposed data tied to more than 14 million citizens. Bottom line: AI is helping adversaries bypass language barriers and scale “carpet-bombing” ransomware and extortion campaigns across a much larger target set. One compromised platform. Hundreds of affected organizations. Millions of people potentially exposed. At the same time, autonomous AI agents have reportedly targeted more than 1,200 websites and breached over 100 organizations. A Palo Alto Networks firewall vulnerability has been exploited in the wild, showing how quickly a security gap can become an operational risk. These are not isolated headlines. They are leading indicators of what is coming next. For months, we have talked about cyber at AI speed—the collapse of the time between reconnaissance, exploitation, lateral movement, and impact. We are now seeing that shift in practice: more automation, more scale, and less time for defenders to make decisions. The time to act is now. The wave is already here—and accelerating. The metric that matters most is containment before impact. In the latest Coded For Chaos Podcast episode with Aaron Sant-Miller, we discuss why defenders cannot win by simply trying to out-speed autonomous attackers. We need to out-think them and change the conditions under which they operate. That is the strategic imperative behind Counter-AI. When defenders change what an attacker can perceive, trust, and act on, autonomous workflows become less reliable. Deception introduces uncertainty. Model manipulation degrades decision quality. Adversary intelligence reveals how an agent is reasoning and where its attack can be disrupted. This is why Booz Allen Hamilton built Vellox Labs™ Guile. We are not waiting for the next phase of autonomous attack. We are building and testing the capabilities required to disrupt it now. Guile has demonstrated the ability to reduce autonomous attacker success by more than 95%. Proud of the Vellox Labs Guile team - Aaron Sant-Miller, Imran Umar, and Andrew Turner—and the operators turning cutting-edge research into mission-ready defense. Counter-AI is not just another security feature. It is an operating model for the next era of cyber defense. • Super intelligence is advancing at unprecedented speed, raising the stakes for America’s national and economic security. As increasingly capable frontier models enable faster, more sophisticated cyberattacks, defending against autonomous adversaries requires a new approach. At Booz Allen, we're building the technology to fight AI with AI. Booz Allen Chairman and CEO Horacio Rozanski recently joined Taylor Riggs, CFA on Fox Business in Depth: The AI Arms Race to discuss how we're confronting machine-speed cyber threats and what it will take for America to lead the global AI race across innovation, cost, and trust.
