Health in Harmony is all about people coming together in partnership to provide patients and families with exceptional care, where and when they need it most. As a life-long South Haven resident and an employee at the Bronson Wellness Center for many years, Sarah Henry has experienced Health in Harmony in action many times. However, the care her daughter received after a traumatic burn will stay with her forever. “The care we received at Bronson Wound Center was remarkable. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the outstanding care provided by Dr. Springsteen (pediatrician) and Dr. Caudill (wound care specialist), everyone treated us with care. Their kindness, professionalism and dedication helped us through one of the most challenging experiences of our lives.” Read the full story at https://lnkd.in/eFaMjNUm. #Bronson125 #HealthInHarmony Image description: Dr. Alan Caudill helps Sarah’s daughter, Harper, put a sticker on their Graduation Tree, symbolizing the completion of her care at Bronson Wound Center in South Haven.

Join us in congratulating Anne Wendling, vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nursing officer at Bronson South Haven Hospital and Bronson LakeView Hospital, on being named Davenport University's College of Health Professions Alumni of the Year! For more than 31 years, Anne has worn many hats at Bronson. From her start as a phlebotomist to several roles in the Bronson Methodist Hospital surgery department and now executive leadership in Van Buren County, she's served countless patients, built strong teams and strengthened patient care across our communities. And her impact reaches beyond Bronson, as she serves on several local nursing advisory boards and as Bronson’s first representative on the Van Buren/Cass District Health Department Board of Health. We're proud to see Anne recognized for her leadership and service to others and grateful for all she does at Bronson and beyond! Earlier this week, Kalamazoo welcomed Dr. Ellen Ochoa, the first Latina astronaut to travel to space, at the Air Zoo. She shared her story with a packed crowd and left everyone feeling inspired. We’re proud of our Latinx Employee Resource Group and the many community organizations and partners who came together to help make the evening such a success. Events like this show the impact ERGs can have by bringing people together to learn from one another and build stronger connections within our community.
