Gritter Francona's VHA SIM EDO team recently gathered in Washington, DC, for two days of in-person collaboration with VHA SIM EDO leadership, with several teammates traveling in to join. Day one focused on collaboration and our shared commitment to supporting VA's mission. Day two provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives, reflect on team accomplishments, and discuss ways to strengthen our support. We also enjoyed a team meal together as a chance to connect beyond the workday. Thank you to VHA SIM EDO leadership for their time and collaboration, and to our teammates for their continued dedication.

Another win for Greenside Solutions, our joint venture with Accenture Federal Services. The team has been awarded the Elizabeth Dole Section 129 Launch and Sustainment task order on IHT 2.0. Greenside will help VA establish and operate the Section 129 recognition process, from reviewing recognition requests to building the processes, quality controls, and resources needed to sustain the program over time. It's a strong example of what Gritter Francona and Accenture Federal Services bring to VA together, and we're proud of the team that made it happen. Greenside Solutions, our SBA-approved Mentor Protégé Joint Venture with Accenture Federal Services, has been selected as a prime contract holder on NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI. Greenside holds awards in two of the vehicle's three categories: • Category B: Enterprise-wide IT Service Solutions • Category C: IT Mission-Based Services SEWP VI is NASA's premier government-wide acquisition contract for IT, communications, and audiovisual solutions. Twenty-five years ago, the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, changed our nation forever. Today, Gritter Francona pauses to remember and honor the nearly 3,000 innocent people who were killed and the families and loved ones who continue to carry their memory. We also honor the first responders and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger, helped strangers, and demonstrated extraordinary courage in our nation’s darkest hours. As we reflect on the profound and lasting impact of that day, we reaffirm our enduring love for our country. We will never forget.

Proud to support the 39th Annual Traverse City Optimist Club Duck Race as a corporate sponsor and even prouder of the Gritter Francona Corporate Duck who took 1st place this year! Together, we raised $47,875 in to directly support youth and family programs in the Traverse City area. Thank you to the Traver City Optimist Club for another great race. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Sawyer, PhD, PMP as Chief Strategy Officer for Gritter Francona and its joint venture, Greenside Solutions.   Dr. Sawyer brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience and 15 years of consulting expertise, including extensive work supporting the Veterans Health Administration and Military Health System. As Chief Strategy Officer, he will lead strategic planning and market analysis efforts, ensuring the company's investments, capabilities, and partnerships remain aligned with emerging federal priorities and client needs. A globally recognized expert in implementation science and high reliability organizations, Dr. Sawyer will help drive innovation and strengthen the company's ability to anticipate and respond to evolving mission requirements.
