The more people know about menopause symptoms, health implications, and treatments, the better equipped they'll be to recognize the need for care and the options available. That knowledge matters to more than the women in this phase of life. It matters to partners and spouses, families, friends, healthcare providers, employers, and lawmakers, too. Better understanding can lead to better questions, better support, and better access to care. Not every urinary tract infection, yeast infection, or case of bacterial vaginosis becomes an emergency if care is delayed, but getting a prompt diagnosis and any necessary treatment can help prevent uncomfortable symptoms from worsening or persisting, and reduce the risk of complications. That's not always available or convenient, as so many of our patients have told our clinicians. We listened—and we responded by launching Midi Health's new care pathway to address these concerns. Women can quickly book a telehealth visit they can attend from home, on a lunch break, or just about anywhere, both inside and outside of traditional office hours. If a prescription is needed, it will be sent to their pharmacy that day. And if infections come back, our clinicians can help determine if hormonal change could be why and help prevent recurrence. The right care at the right time—designed for real life. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eJ95Nnsd

Midi Health recently celebrated two major milestones: five years since incorporation and more than 500,000 women served. 🎉 When we started offering virtual perimenopause and menopause care, these topics weren’t nearly as visible in the public conversation as they are today. Women were struggling to find answers, symptoms were often misunderstood or dismissed, and many didn’t know that effective treatment was available. Today, more women are talking openly about their experiences, asking questions, and seeking specialized care. Employers, healthcare leaders, and other decision-makers are also paying closer attention to the impact hormonal changes can have on women's health and quality of life, the workplace, and the healthcare system. That progress matters. Raising awareness isn’t just about telling someone something exists. It’s about giving them the information they need to understand its impact to effect change. There is still work to do. Too many women continue to navigate symptoms without the education, support, or treatment they need. As we recognize World Menopause Awareness Month, we're celebrating how far we've come while staying focused on what comes next: making sure every woman knows that what she's experiencing matters, that help is available, and that she doesn't have to navigate this chapter alone. #WorldMenopauseMonth #MenopauseAwarenessMonth #MidiHealth

The same women who come to Midi Health for perimenopause and menopause care may be among the 38% (aged 40-49) and 20% (aged 50+) who are behind on their mammograms. That's why we check if our patients are due for breast screening, reviewing the recommendations, reminding them to make and complete their appointments, and connecting them to prompt imaging in their area if needed. Those touch points make a difference. Just ask Midi patient Meghan, who shares her story here. #BreastCancerAwareness #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #BreastCancerScreening #EarlyDetection #WomensHealth #MidiHealth
