The North American Lutheran Church was formed in 2010 by Christians seeking to remain deeply rooted in the truth of the Bible and the mission of Jesus Christ. We hold to the historic teachings of the Church, guided by the Lutheran Confessions, and shaped by four core values: we are a Christ-Centered, Mission-Driven, Traditionally Grounded, and Congregationally Focused community of believers committed to making disciples and living out the Gospel together.
A season of growth in the Spirit as the Church lives out Christ’s mission in the world.

Here’s how the NALC helps congregations step into their mission calling:
At the 2025 Mission Convocation in Pittsburgh, the North American Lutheran Church unveiled a renewed vision for our shared life together: to be a disciple-making church. This vision comes to life as congregations are renewed in faith, disciples are equipped to follow Jesus with confidence, and communities are transformed by the power of the Gospel. From local ministries and global partnerships to life-to-life discipleship in homes, schools, and workplaces, we are answering Christ’s call to love God, love our neighbors, and make disciples of all nations.
After a year of discernment, the North American Lutheran Seminary is entering a new chapter. Beginning in fall 2027, the NALS will relocate its hub partnership to Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Alabama.
The first weeks of school reset a family’s rhythm—and faith is often what gets crowded out. Our Youth & Family Team has two free resources to help. Back to School Worship Ideas offers a children’s message and prayers for a backpack blessing Sunday. Joyfully Go to School with Jesus is a take-home kit with a family devotion and 15 scripture and prayer cards.

Both are ready to print and free to adapt. Bless them on Sunday; equip them for Monday.
Every NALC congregation is asked to review, meet, and submit their vote on the constitutional amendments approved at the 2025 Mission Convocation. For all details and resources regarding these amendments, click the button below.
You don’t need to start big. Just start faithful.
