OUR MISSION
As the philanthropic partner to USA Cycling, the USA Cycling Foundation maximizes the impact of our donors’ support by funding three pillars:
IDENTIFY
Find the next generation of world class talent through talent identification, camps, and international exposure.
DEVELOP
Invest in athletes, coaching, training, competition, and support systems.
PREPARE
Align resources—technology, sports science, medical support, mental performance—to win on the world stage
“I’ve been in the USAC organization since I was 16 years old. I was a child when I first met a lot of the people that are still involved in the organization. I’ve been to almost every World Championships since then… The men’s road race has always been the dream for everyone in the organization.”
Brandon McNulty, 2026 Men’s Road Race, UCI World Champion
OUR VISION
We know great athletes aren’t defined solely by talent—they’re shaped by access to coaching, technology, performance support, and opportunity. We believe:
Olympic and Paralympic dreams reflect the American dream.
Talent and hard work, not circumstance, should determine success.
Comprehensive support creates champions and lifelong leaders.
Our impact inspires future generations.
In 2028, for the first time in 32 years, our Olympians and Paralympians will compete on home soil at the Los Angeles Games. This once‑in‑a‑generation opportunity allows us to build on our record-breaking performance of 6 Olympic and 8 Paralympic medals in Paris 2024, and elevate American cycling to inspire thousands of future bike racers and cycling fans.
AMERICA DOESN'T FUND OLYMPIANS. AMERICANS DO.
The U.S. federal government provides no funding for Olympic or Paralympic sport. Major competitors like Great Britain, France, and Italy are almost entirely state‑funded at 2x, 3x and even 4x the philanthropic resources supporting our programs and athletes.
For USA Cycling, philanthropy isn’t supplemental, it’s essential. On average, 60% of our high‑performance support comes from our donors.
Your charitable investment changes what is possible. Every medal, every breakthrough, every athlete’s journey is made possible by donors who believe in the power of sport. You are the team behind the team.
EVERY DOLLAR MATTERS
The USA Cycling Foundation is shaping the future of American cycling by providing financial support to USA Cycling. As a recognized U.S. Olympic & Paralympic national governing body, USA Cycling is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It exists to achieve cycling excellence by American athletes at professional and Olympic & Paralympic levels. In a sport where margins are thin and competition is fierce, your support can make the difference between success and failure for our athletes.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
The world of high-performance cycling is incredibly demanding. Developing world-class athletes requires substantial resources, and nearly every competitive nation receives government funding for Olympic and Paralympic sport development. The United States stands as the only major industrialized country without government support. Therefore, achieving international success relies heavily on dedicated charitable support from corporations, foundations, and generous individuals like you.
OUR IMPACT
IDENTIFY, DEVELOP, AND SUPPORT
“I believe that all of the USA cyclists will continue to rise to new heights, and support each-other to continue to bring the nation and next-generations with us. Thank you, USA Cycling for all of the support throughout my development and I am looking forward to much more gold ahead.”
- Haley Batten
